Well, the holiday break is almost over! That means my last semester of Graphic Design is starting on Monday, January 7th! I’m both excited and scared to start. Why? Because it’ll be exciting to get going again and finish college but, on the other hand, driving to school and parking costs money, and with crummy winter weather to make it worse, and of course when true reality kicks in and I’m no longer a student and am unleashed into the working world. Well, the FULL-TIME working world. (I’ve been working ever since I can remember, did a lot of farm stuff for the neighbors). So, it should be an interesting last semester to say the least.

What am I going to be doing when I graduate? I have no clue. I always though of starting my own business, but to be honest it intimidates me. I would love the freedom to do my own thing and work from home, but the thought of maybe not always having a steady paycheck is a little scary.

I’m still leaning towards the photo editing and retouching side of graphic design. I love Photoshop and could/have spent many hours at a time working on various things within it. Now, to get paid and do that would just be amazing! I’ll be sure to keep up with the updates and hopefully get some more tutorials written up in the coming months. We have been warned it’s going to be busy and won’t have time to do anything, but we’ll just have to see! Thanks for reading!
