Well, I’m in my 3rd and final year of Graphic Design! A little scary to think about yet kind of a relief at the same time. Although it’s still not until April, we (the students) have to devise a way to self-promote ourselves so future employers know we are here. Other graduates in past years have created books that showcase all the students’ profiles and work, like a mini portfolio with everyone in it and everyone pitching in to add their own thing. Other years have had a “Grad Show” where they set up a booths to show-case their work and invite employers to come and check it out. They also have free food, drinks, and all that good stuff. The thing is though, it seems everyone is split on what they want to do for our graduation. Should we do the book? have a show or party? web site? all of them? what!?
That’s why I’m writing this, we need some ideas! Let’s say you are the employer, what you want to see? Our profs said the show was a great success the first year but, has generally lost interest over the years and employers kind of just stop coming. We need some new and fresh ideas, anyone have anything in mind?
Note: Everything will be paid out of our own pocket (with the help of fund-raising). Any ideas for that would be great as well ;).

Hey Sean,
How about everyone pitches in to launch a final year website, with a selection of everyone’s work on it.
That way, you can direct people to your own website without them needing to remember to visit, next time they’re online. It’d also be interesting for your readers (myself included) to check out.
Just a thought.
