I came across this really awesome tool called WebSite Grader by SmallBusinessHub after looking at J David Macor.com’s list of tools. WebSite Grader will grade your site out of 100 and provides tips on increasing your grade so you can have the chance of a better SEO and page rank. The grading system is based on comparing your site with other sites that have been submitted using the same tool. When I first entered my blog into the tool I was graded 73/100, which is pretty good I would say, but obviously not the greatest.

WebSite Grader gives a lot of information on how to improve your grade and explains what things and how they affect your grade. After using this tool and using the tips to change and correct some things involving this blog I’ve been able to bring my grade of a 73 up to a 78 in about 15 minutes. Of course there is more I can do, but it’s mostly now getting people to link and del.icio.us bookmark my blog for a better page rank and grade.

One of the things that I’ve never seen before, and thought was pretty interesting, is offering the readability level of your site. My blog is graded at an 11th grade readability level, of course they say the more readable it is the better.

I suggest checking WebSite Grader out so you can find out what (if anything) you need to change or alter so you can give your site a better grade and ultimately a better SEO ranking.
