This chapter took place last night on April 19, 2007.

I woke up to a beautiful clear sky clear with no clouds in sight. Luckily it stayed like that all day and night, as I was able to deliver in my t-shirt all night. No coats for me! I had to drive into school for 12PM to drop off a final project. A 20 minute drive one way to be there a total of 5 minutes to hand the project in…excellent. I did get a chance to go see my girlfriend though for a bit so that was good. I eventually head home and start getting ready for work. I meant to finish the project that was due today but only managed to do a little bit of it.

Nothing overly exciting happened and it wasn’t an overly busy night but, it was enough to keep us working. A bunch of people came in around 10:30 and after (we close at 11) to order. I was out on deliveries so the other worker by herself had to take care of a bunch of customers and orders. And of course with the order and the people n the store that means we can’t sweep or mop the front lobby or anywhere else where we have to walk, which is almost everywhere. I didn’t get out of the store until about 11:30, the goal is to be out at 11:15 at the latest.

I’m going to do something I’ve always meant to do, and that’s showing the prices of the bills from my deliveries and how much I was given. Just so some people can get a look at the money I make (and don’t).

1st delivery of the night:
Order: 2 large pizzas and 2 bottles of pop

Order: 1 medium pizza

Order: 1 small panzorati and 1 can of diet coke
Total Cost: $13.04
Total Paid: $15.04 ($2 tip)

Order: 1 medium pizza and 20 wings
Total Cost: $29.57
Total Paid: $30 ($0.43 tip)

Order: 10 wings and 1 garlic fingers with cheese
Total Cost: $14.80
Total Paid: $17 ($2.20 tip)

Order: 1 small pizza and 1 can of coke
Total Cost: $12.13
Total Paid: $15 ($2.87 tip)

Order: 1 large pizza
Total Cost: $19.89
Total Paid: $22 ($2.11 tip)

10 deliveries totaling $215.45 in sales with a total tip amount of $16.53.
15% of 215.45 is $32.32…

… I ‘ll leave it at that.
